This is the first blog post, I am making it more for the people who are clicking thru this site because they are curious than anything else.

I make grand statements about “the whole point of AWFixerOS” though in this post I will give some more details as it will either get read a lot or it wont be found until AWFixerOS is released into production.

The First Main Reason

the first real reason that I have been working on AWFixerOS all these years is because of my deep-seated and unending hatred for companies like Apple, Google, and Microsoft. As well a Oracle, IBM, RedHat, the Linux Foundation and more. I have always viewed them as a drain on society and things that need to go. One thing that they all have in common are their operating systems and the various ways that they provide them will hold over their shares of the market.

With this in mind I set out to examine all of their operating systems and figure out what each one did best and how I could make something that is not only better, but open source.

The Second Main Reason

the second real reason for why I have been working on AWFixerOS is because I have a way that I like to use my machines, and even though it can be really hard to set up it ends up creating a setup that people like. Combine this with the powerful features I have been working on and one of my goals is to realse a system that I love to the world. Doing damage with something I love, has a bit of a mordant ring to it, right?
